1. A perennial favourite is, of course, the Advent wreath. Alongside traditional wreaths, there are now a wide variety of variants to choose from: modern metal candlesticks for four candles, dried flower wreaths or wooden bowls containing candle holders. And if you’re interested in a Christmas DIY project, you can also make your own Christmas wreath and give your creativity free rein.
2. Fairy lights and candles help to create a cosy atmosphere, bathing the room in warm light and setting the mood for a contemplative Christmas season. Cinnamon or almond-scented candles in particular are sure to bring a Christmassy fragrance into your home and beguile the senses.
3. Flower arrangements will also help you get into the Christmas spirit with red flowers lending a particularly festive touch. Combined with eucalyptus or succulents, the arrangements look modern and fresh.
4. Pine cones, conifer twigs, dried orange slices and tree bark make perfect seasonal table decorations. Whether loose on the table or inside a glass vase, these natural Christmas decorations will help to create a special ambience.
Our decoration tip: Cut an orange into slices and leave out to dry for a few days. Then thread some cotton through the slices and hang on your Christmas tree.
Here’s wishing you lots of fun with the festive decorations and an enjoyable run up to Christmas.
