The history
The origins of Valentine's Day go back to the 3rd century AD. According to legend, Valentine of Terni was a priest who married lovers in defiance of an imperial ban. He was executed for it and later declared a saint of lovers by the church.
Valentine's Day became particularly popular in England in the 19th century, when greeting cards with romantic messages were sent. Today, it has a special place in the hearts of many people and inspires us to express love and affection.

Inspiration for Valentine's Day
Why not get creative together on Valentine's Day and transform your own four walls into a little love paradise? Here are some ideas:
- Flower motifs are always a hit: instead of a fading bouquet of flowers, a photomural or stretched canvas print with floral motifs brings timeless romance to any room.
- Destinations of love: Memories of special places can be captured with landscape motifs – perhaps a sunset on the beach, or a romantic view of Paris. With our custom-made products, personal motifs are also no problem!
- Joint projects: Turn wallpapering into an experience. Designing a room together can be just as bonding as a romantic dinner.
