Life is a circle. We often run around in circles and feel like we're getting nowhere – we want to change things but don't know how. Sometimes, it helps just to replace accessories and start afresh with some new interior features and decorative highlights. This is where Komar's circular photomurals come in – because they can make a completely new kind of decorative statement.
"The ball is round and the round ball has to go into the square goal," said none other than national football coach Sepp Herberger, who led the German football team to the World Cup title in 1954. World champion status – that's what Komar's brand-new dot designs also aspire to. And it's why the managers of the Bavarian family business have gone all out to design attractive circular wall motifs that become striking features of any interior.
Bauhaus Clash, Mother Nature, Surface, Planets und History of Arts are the names of the five design categories of the new circular motifs which have a diameter of 125 cm and are simple to hang thanks to a self-adhesive base material. "Our dots are the perfect addition to any decorative style or interior, whether cosy student apartment or spacious penthouse," says Sabine Komar-Häusler, CEO of wallpaper manufacturer Komar, which was founded in 1967. And indeed, the novel dots appeal not just because they're so easy to hang but because there is such a variety of design themes printed with state-of-the-art printing technology. The motives couldn't be more individual: sumptuous bouquets of flowers, impressive planets or fascinating landscapes. Combined with clean, linear and thematically coordinated interior elements, the round photomurals create a very special effect. The self-adhesive wallpapers can draw attention to other decorative elements or be an elegant statement in their own right.
