Lining drawers with photomural
Drawers are ideal for upcycling with wallpaper scraps, as they can be quickly and easily lined with decorative photomurals. Instead of plain wood, unique patterns or bright colours then pop out from between the items of clothing - a nice surprise effect, especially with plain furniture.
Wallpaper remnants as works of art
Some wallpaper patterns are so artistic that they deserve their own showcase. So why not put the wallpaper remnants in beautiful picture frames? Combined with various frames in different sizes, every wall becomes a real eye-catcher. Even small scraps can be used to create unique collages.
Patchwork patterns from wallpaper scraps
Over time, a few small wallpaper remnants and patterns can accumulate. You can also make great use of these - all together as a patchwork surface. To do this, cut the scraps to the same size and arrange them in a colourful mix. Patterns can also be cut into several pieces and glued together vertically and horizontally.
Wallpapering the back of a shelf
Still have half a strip of wallpaper left? Why not use it to cover the back wall of a display cabinet or shelf? If the shelves are exactly the same width and height as the wallpaper cut-out, the result is a visual unit that looks like a real shelf. You can also redesign an alcove or a section of wall in this way.
Wallpaper zoo
The wall in the children's room is too boring, but large-scale wallpapering is out of the question? Then why not use leftover wallpaper to create adventurous motifs! A cut-out elephant, a lion or a giraffe - with a small wallpaper zoo, the room immediately looks much friendlier and the children can dream themselves away on an exciting safari to faraway lands from time to time.
