Homemade lemon iced tea
You will need:
- 2 tbsp raw cane sugar
- 25 g loose black tea
- 300 g ice cubes
- 2 lemons
- 1 lime
- Mint
Preparation:
- Bring 200 ml water to the boil together with the sugar and then add the tea. Stir and leave to infuse for a few minutes. Place the ice cubes in a large jug and pour the tea through a fine sieve
- Wash the lemons, cut them in half and then squeeze out the juice from three halves. Cut the remaining lemon halves into slices.
- Also halve and squeeze the lime. Add the juice from the fruit to the iced tea and fill up with 600 ml of cold water.
- Decorate the iced tea with the lemon slices and some mint and then enjoy!
